How Do I Know If Radon Is In My Home?
Radon is even present in outside air at very low levels. The question is how much radon is in your house or basement. To have a radon problem in your home you need 3 things: 1) a radiation source, 2) a pathway for the radon to enter the home, and 3) a driving force pulling radon through that pathway. The only way to know how much radon is present is to test. The test should be ran in the lowest livable area, even if you don’t spend a lot of time there. That will give you the most accurate read on if mitigation may be needed.
